Delivery Information

Online Orders
We aim to dispatch your within within 5 working days of placing your order. before your bike leaves us, it will undergo a full Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) by our mechanic and be road tested up to 2 miles to make sure everything is working as it should.

We will then dispatch your bike to our couriers who have a handling time of 1-3 days. Full tracking information will be available.

Ebikes will be dispatched with DX or TNT depending on availability.

NOTE: When you receive your bike it will be fully assembled apart from the handlebars which will simply require turning straight and tightening. The pedals will need to be attached  &  tightened. Instructions will be provided within box on how to do it.

Personalised Delivery Service – NORFOLK & SUFFOLK POSTCODES

If you live within A Norfolk & Suffolk postcode then delivery is free (apart from a cuppa or two!) and will be carried out personally by a Smilebikes team member, so a people person who is passionate about ebikes and smiles!
Personalised Delivery includes:

  • Position setup (saddle height, steering & controls)
  • Suspension setup (if applicable)
  • Display unit and controller operation (modes, walk assist, other information)
  • Battery charging, removal & care
  • Cleaning & maintenance advice, tyre pressures
  • Warranty Information
  • A test ride
  • Opportunity to ask as many questions as you want!

Our aim is to deliver your bike at a mutually convenient time within a week of placing your order if your bike is indicated as in stock with us.

If it is in stock with our suppliers then we would expect to have it with you within 10 working days (usually sooner).

If your bike is a pre-order or not in stock with our supplier then we will give you an indication of delivery and keep you posted!

Want this service anywhere else in the UK?

If you require this service out of Norfolk and Suffolk we still like to offer it, but we will need to charge a fee for this service. Please contact us directly to discuss this.

Coming to test ride from anywhere in the UK?

With our renowned levels of service topped with our idyllic location (and world class coffee!) we have a large amount of customers visiting us from all over the UK. Lots test ride an Ebike and place an order there and then.

In these situations we try our best to let you take the bike home same day, but this is not always possible.

So if you put the effort in to visit us from outside Norfolk &  Suffolk postcodes and decide to buy an Ebike from us, then we will be pleased to reward your efforts by either delivering by courier FOC OR  choose our personalised delivery service at a fuel cost only rate.

Collection

If you wish to Collect your order from Smilebikes HQ in Langley, Norfolk is free. Orders are usually ready for collection within 5 business days. If you wish to collect your order from our store, please let us know during check out.
